Showing his distaste for the press, PUTUS Bush gave reporters the middle finger Wednesday on Capitol Hill. The "born again" "Christian" conservative Republican gave a big "fuck you" or "go fuck yourself" by "flipping the bird" to the men and women of the press, who were the presumed target of the nonverbal communication gesture.
This is not the first time that Bush has been captured doing so. In 2004 in East Lampeter, PA. Bush also flick off a group of teenage boys protesting him while holding a sign that said, "DOWN WITH BIG BROTHER!" and "MORE TREES, LESS BUSH" while shaking copies of 1984 in the air as he passed them on a campaign bus tour. What is most disturbing about the event on July 27th, 2005 is that the White House actually commented to John Aravosis of AMERICAblog about the incident. David Almacy of the White House communications office told John that Bush definitely gave the "thumbs up sign." Right... What a liar, I guess he didn't see the video...
One may also recall that Bush's father George H. W. Bush also gave the "fuck you" sign to protesting Australians in 1992. Only after getting done telling the press he was an "expert in hand gestures."
Anyone have a picture of that one? I remember seeing it back when I was in middle school.

Q Scott, last night on the Tonight Show, Jay Leno, who apparently is subbing for Johnnie, displayed a video of the President at the Capitol yesterday. In that video, the President walking away from the press lifts his hand and raises a finger. Mr. Leno interpreted it as, shall we say, a finger of hostility. Each of our fingers has a special purpose and meaning in life. (Laughter.) Can you tell us what finger it was he held up?
MR. McCLELLAN: Ken, I'm not even going to dignify that with much of a response. But if someone is misportraying something, that's unfortunate.
Q Well, it was not a finger of hostility?
MR. McCLELLAN: Ken, I was there with him, and I'm just not going to -- I'm not going to dignify that with a response. I mean, I haven't seen the video that you're talking about, but I know the way the President acts. And if someone is misportraying it, that's unfortunate.
