That makes it a very sad 20% of Senate Republicans are essentially pro-lynching. The updated 100% Republican wall of lynching shame: Alexander (R-TN)What possible moral reason could an elected official have in the 21st century other then they support what the majority of their constituents want?

3. What's the point in this bill except to make a few senators feel all warm and fuzzy for a while?
Unlike his bretheren who rather than rebuke their past and segregation switched over to the Republican Party where their segregationist views and racism would be more tolerated and accepted.
Why the hell should Republicans, whether white or black, apologize for being victimized by murderous Democrats?
The mandate should include some sort of 4Rs training so that we can make students understand that racially motivated violence in America is intolerable and reprehensible.
The right wing in this country has turned ignorance, stupidity and fear into their most holy sacraments.
