Thanks to some good reporting to Swing State Project among others, you can now listen to Republican Congressional candidate Jean Schmidt lie to everyone, the read about how she did it. Or the other way around. Schmidt was asked flat out about being connected to the Ohio "Coingate" corruption scandal on Cincinnati WKRC-TV. When her association with Tom Noe (a major Republican fundraiser involved in the Coingate scandal as well as illegal contributions to POTUS Bush in 2004), was questioned, Schmidt replied:
"I have no idea who Tom Noe is, I have never met that man. To align me with someone I have never met. If he walked in the room [Dan], I wouldn't know what he looked like."

Jean Schmidt lied when she commented about Tom Noe. As documented here & here. Official Ohio state documents proved Schmidt testified before Tom Noe's committee, where Noe was there to second and approve the minutes. But that's not only it. Tom Noe also testified before Jean Schmidt's committee in 2003.
