This morning, about 7:05 am Eastern time, George Bush was interviewed by Diane Sawyers on ABC's Good Morning America. This is what he said:"I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees."
Was he even briefed about the situation at least two days before (Saturday) when we knew this was going to happen? Did not everyone on TV have the animations of New Orleans under sea level? Did not everyone on TV talk about the scenario of even if the storm goes east of New Orleans, the back side winds could cause a storm surge on Lake Pontchartrain to the north, over the levees? America needs a leader right now, not some aloof, and people are dying needlessly because of it.
Bush on Monday the 29th, keeping his "promise to our (rich white) seniors, and we will throw in a darkie behind Bush for photo opt purposes.
