Knuckle Dragger Bush: Schools Should Teach Unintelligent Design

Posted by Frankie at 8/02/2005 01:30:00 PM

God help us and our children. POTUS Bush said yesterday that students should be "taught" about "intelligent design" along with evolution in when discussing the creation of life. The knuckle dragger Bush said,
"“I think that part of education is to expose people to different schools of thought. You're asking me whether or not people ought to be exposed to different ideas, the answer is yes."
Back in the 2004 Presidential debates, Bush commented about evolution,
"The jury is still out."
This is just a slap in the face to ANYONE within the field of science and especially to our children who more now then ever, need a strong science and math background in an evergrowing competetative global climate. The theory of intelligent design says life on earth is too complex to have developed through evolution, implying that a higher power must have had a hand in creation. These people believe that the earth is only about 4000 years old and that the bible is the sole source of all explanations pertaining to anything. This theory can be applied to when man though that stars at night were lights from heaven that poked through a black cloth which surrounded the earth.
The earth is the center of the universe. Or that the earth is flat because when you look out at the ocean it seems to just drop off. Also I am sure you know that Noah (yes, from the bible) was responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs. Rats magically appear from garbage. Bloodletting helps the sick. Anything that is "too complex" should just be left with a higher power who "designed" it. What a great way to make progress and teach our children. If something is "too complex" to understand, then lets just leave it up to God and Jesus and thank Noah for killing off the Dinosaurs and buryinging them in the mud from the great flood. The theory of anti-intellectualismism pedagogy will get humankind far...

Note: "Knuckle Dragger" is a figure of speach for describing someone of low intelligence, stupid, or ancient human ancestry. Humans in their evolution never actually dragged their knuckles.

There you go again. Sticks and stones. Say what a dumb stattement he made, leave the name calling out. It dilutes the story so only liberals will read it. Who gives a darn what he thinks on this issue? Education is a state issue, remember. FYI I dont believe in any religion and onthe back of my Acura a fish symbol with the words Darwin inside it..but am a conservative guy.

OK, so you believe in science, the forming a theories based on facts, yet you think its OK to teach religious ID in school... you just love our constitution

Ah no where did I say or infer that anywhere? I am totally against any thing but evolution. That came from reading many science books and other explanations, dispite a Catholic upbringing. Oy vey di dI hate catholic school. When I worked for the Bush campign,FYI, I never heard a word..honest..about religion from any worker or official. Not one.
Yes I love our Constitution, unlike Ginsberg (former lawyer for the ACLU) and other activist judges who use FOREIGN laws to help form and support their judgements. Read "Men in Black" Frank.
Best wishes,

What? The ACLU doesn't "love our Constitution"??? Are you freaking kidding. Thats all they do.

Listen, I am not into reading right wing books. I have always been liberal / progressive, but was registered independent until 2004. If it's anything of the writings of Hannity, Coutler, its most likely riddled with lies and half trueths.
