Fist it was "anyone... involved" then it was "somebody... did leak" and now it is "someone committed a crime" with the ever changing story from Bush in his hard stance to defend treason. Rove has said that he got the information from a reporter, but Cooper and Navak testified differently. So what is this all saying? The new criteria for being fired is "committed a crime," thus they are going with the stance that leaking CIA agent identity is not a "crime" or they didn't "knowing" do it, or Rove simply did not do it. Let alone the lies they are "commit[ing]" right know with possible purjery charges from the conflicting public statements that we already know about. Here is a Bush CIA leak timeline thanks to Kos.
September 29, 2003:
McClellan: "If anyone in this administration was involved in it [the improper disclosure of an undercover CIA operatives identity], they would no longer be in this administration."
September 30, 2003"
Bush: "If somebody did leak classified information, I'd like to know it, and we'll take the appropriate action."
Today:
Bush: "If someone committed a crime, they will no longer work in my administration."
The bottom line, Bush is a liar, and not just about stupid crap. He lies in just the most colossal and open way that the average person would think, "oh that can't be true."
