Bush Approval Plummets To 37%, Leave Iraq ASAP 52%

Posted by Frankie at 10/06/2005 10:37:00 PM

The latest polling on Bush's numbers have plummeted after a week of Miers, a fake press conference, another Iraq speech, and now a good old fashion terror alert. Bush now stand with a 37% approval rating... I still would like to know who are these 37% of idiots out there? Also, and for the FIRST TIME EVER, a majority of Americans, 52% now say we should leave Iraq as soon as possible. Which has Bush now in the minority of Americans 42% who say we must stay, Bush said today:
"Our commitment is clear — we will not relent until the organized international terror networks are exposed and broken and their leaders held to account for their acts of murder."
I also thought this quote from today was interesting. Wo do you think said this?
"We are facing a radical ideology with immeasurable objectives to enslave whole nations and intimidate the world."
A: Osama bin Ladin
B: Howard Dean
C: George W. Bush
D: Bill Clinton

"We are facing a radical ideology with immeasurable objectives to enslave whole nations and intimidate the world."

C: George W. Bush and the Ridiculous Right

The irony of it all comes from this quote from Senator Robert Taft, known as "Mr. Republican," he complained in 1949, "We have quietly adopted a tendency to interfere in the affairs of other nations to assume that we are a kind of demigod and Santa Claus to solve the problems of the world."

Much has changed since then...

Peace,
Chris

I wish more of these people would have realized that before they re-elected him. Not that I am a big Kerry fan either, but he was better than what we have.
